Ingredients
Method
- Heat large Dutch oven or sauté pan (6 quart) on high, and add bacon and onion.
- Season with pepper.
- Cook until bacon is almost done, and onion is translucent.
- Add two cans of pork-n-beans, and reduce heat to medium.
- Add 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of mustard, and 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce. (I use KC Masterpiece Original)
- Let all these ingredients simmer, stirring occasionally.
Notes
I typically use Bush's baked beans and use the same amounts of added ingredients. Mainly because we tend to have the Bush's Baked Beans in our pantry.
