Oven Baked Rice

Want perfect rice every time? Looking for more flavor? My oven baked rice recipe delivers perfect rice and is super easy. No stirring, watching, or worries.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Extra Long Grain Rice
  • 1 3/4 cups Broth, Chicken, Beef, Vegetable or Water
  • 1/4 tsp Montreal Chicken Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper, Freshly Ground

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees. 
  • Measure and pour the rice into an 8x8 brownie pan or pie pan. 
  • Add the broth to a small sauce pan, along with the seasonings.  Bring to a slight boil. 
  • Once it is lightly boiling, pour the broth over the rice.   
  • Cover the rice with the aluminum foil and place this into the toaster or regular oven.
  • Set the timer for 23-25 minutes.  Serve with your favorite dish.

Notes

I use Mahatma Brand rice. 
This can be baked in either a toaster oven or full size oven.  
Experiment with different seasonings.  Have fun with this dish.
