Grilled Whole Red Snapper

Want to know how to grill a whole red snapper? It's a lot easier than you might think. Easy to prepare, grill and serve as a great meal to share.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Whole Red Snapper
  • Kosher Salt
  • 1-2 tbsp Steak Seasoning or Old Bay Seasoning

Method
 

  1. Heat Grill to 400 degrees.
  2. Rinse fish and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Cut diagonal slits every 1 1/2 inches on each side. (until you hit the bones)
  4. Season inside and out with Kosher Salt.
  5. Let stand 20 minutes.
  6. Add Steak seasoning or Old Bay Seasoning.
  7. Place on grill; and cook for 10-12 minutes until fish lifts easily from grill. 
  8. Flip fish and grill an additional 10-12 minutes.
  9. Turn off grill and tent with an aluminum pan for 2 minutes.
  10. Plate with salsa and lime.

Notes

Maintain grill at 400 degrees.
Serve with rice if desired.
