undrained (15 ounce cans)

Garlic Cloves,

Shallot
chopped
1/2
Yellow Onion
chopped

Cilantro

Jalapeno Peppers
chopped - optional
Instructions
Heat oil in a skillet and add diced onions, shallot, salt, pepper, and jalapeños if adding.
Sauté until onions are translucent.
Add cilantro and garlic. Stir into onions and let simmer a few minutes.
Add beans to mixture. Simmer about 30-45 minutes. Serve hot.
Notes
Do not drain the beans.
