  • Some of the children changed the spelling of their last names, thus I have updated my list to reflect the spelling they used.
  • John’s nickname was Junior to differentiate him from his Uncle John.
  • Jonathan Winchell is the son of Richard Winchell.
  • Hannah Scott is the daughter of Edmond and Hannah (Bird) Scott.
  • Samuel Sanford is the son of Thomas Sanford; Hannah and Samuel had 6 children.

  • Abigail Jackson is the daughter of Samuel Jackson and Jedidiah ? of Fairfield, CT. Samuel Jackson is the son of Henry Jackson and Hannah Skidmore.
  • Abigail Jackson’s death date is 9 Nov 1775 per her headstone.
  • Jedidiah Brownson and Nathaniel Baldwin Jr had only one daughter, Jedidiah Baldwin.
  • David Norton is the son of Samuel Norton and Dinah Birdsey of Durham. Dinah was the widow of Benjamin Beach of Stratford, CT.
  • Ethan Allen was a historically prominent figure during the American Revolutionary War. He was the son of Joseph Allen and Mary Baker.  He married a second time in 1784 after his wife Mary Bronson died. There is extensive information about his life in the history books.
